About the Role:
As a Strategic Business Lead, you will be responsible for creating actionable insights from the ground up, crafting strategies and tactics, and helping implement that plan. You will be in a unique position to enable a bird’s eye view on the strategy and performance of all markets by driving planning, reporting, and analysis efforts. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to turn these insights into strategic recommendations and initiatives, and be involved in driving strategic decisions to help the business scale, and perform more efficiently as we do.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong analytical skills and an appetite for learning how data insights actually play out on the ground. They will need to navigate through stakeholders' needs, be obsessed about making data-driven decisions and be super well organised. The position requires a strong ability to coordinate with multiple POCs across the business, manage relationships with functional areas and drive leadership buy-in.
What You'll Do:
- Strategy Development & Execution: Support with the development and execution of all markets’ strategies to be in line with the overall company strategy.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish and track the company’s key metrics (through setting up dashboards and reports) to monitor and ensure the strategy’s success.
- Problem-Solving: Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of key problems and develop structured and actionable solutions through the generated data-driven insights.
- Project Management: Define strategic projects’ scope and objectives, and oversee their end-to-end execution, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Map and analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies/ improvement opportunities, and design and implement optimized processes, aligning with all concerned cross-functional teams.
- Business Analysis: Gather and analyze key data, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and cross functional stakeholders, fostering alignment across teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of work experience
- BA/BS/MS in Business Administration, Economics, or a quantitative field
- Top of the line Excel and data management skills
- SQL proficiency is strongly preferred
- You need to be very well organized and have strong project management skills
- You will need to thrive with ambiguity and uncertainty. You need to be able to create order and a path forward when the answer isn't clear.
- Strong communication skills is a must - Taking complicated and complex issues and compiling into a clean and clear narrative. You will need to be able to influence the thinking of those above you as well as your peers
- Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly while maintaining attention to detail
