About the Role:
If you get excited by building efficient, scalable platforms that enable new businesses to succeed, this is the perfect role for you. Your will get to deliver Trella’s Operational and Product value propositions and services to designated portfolio and capture business value and achieve commercial and financial objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Own and deliver on the ideal shipper experience and journey with Trella’s services & products
- Achievement of all Commercial and Financial objectives as per short and long range plans.
- Retention and expansion of customers revenues and share of wallet through ensuring the successful launch and operation of all business operations.
- Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges.
- Assist clients in their day to day requests related to export/import inland trucking quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing.
- Build a pipeline and acquire new customers to enhance your portfolio and demand base.
- Plan, schedule and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with assigned accounts and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of current and future opportunities.
- Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution and ensure delivery of a great customer experience within your portfolio.
- Participate in the development, implementation and automation of critical business processes and tools used to track sales process, forecasting, pipeline management and performance.
- Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team.
- Serve as a partner to our sales team anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Trella's business objectives.
- Be resourceful, scrappy, and get things done.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and experience focused on freight processes and operational improvement is a plus
- (2-5) years of Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Sales. SaaS, Tech-based, and startup background is a plus.
- A winning mentality and hunger for growth.
- All the following skill sets / previous experiences may be relevant to varying degrees:
- Sales & Account Management
- Freight forwarding.
- Import & Export.
- Project Management
- Supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
- Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Import / Export Industry
- Innovative mindset focused on doing things better, faster, more efficiently.
- Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers, transportation partners, and internal partners.
- Passion for the service needs of our customers and transportation partners.
- Analytical and critical thinking ability.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well.
