About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Marketplace Analyst to join our team in Egypt. This role will be instrumental in building visibility over marketplace performance, supporting operational decision-making, and unlocking opportunities for growth and efficiency across our network. You will work at the intersection of data, business strategy, and operational execution.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor key marketplace and operational metrics.
- Analyze marketplace data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities across different truck types and verticals.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to ensure reliable data sources and clean data pipelines.
- Translate raw data into actionable business insights that drive supply growth, retention, pricing optimization, and service quality.
- Automate recurring reports and build scalable data models using SQL and analytics tools.
- Support monthly performance reviews, OKRs, and strategic planning with deep-dive analyses.
- Ensure data is accurate, accessible, and tailored to stakeholder needs (Marketplace,Ops, Finance, Leadership).
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or operations analytics.
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Experience with visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.).
- Familiarity with R or Python for data analysis is a plus.
- Management consulting or start-up experience is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect data with real-world decisions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
