About the Role:
The Junior Insurance Coordinator supports the company’s insurance and claims activities by ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting of incidents, and coordination with transporters, brokers, and insurance providers. This role plays a critical part in protecting the company from financial and operational risk by maintaining compliance with insurance requirements and assisting in efficient claims resolution.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented early-career professional looking to build expertise in logistics risk management within a fast-paced operational environment. Candidate must be based in Egypt and will support KSA remotely.
What You'll Do:
Claims Execution
Drive the end-to-end claims process from incident notification to recovery.
Ensure claims are filed within policy SLAs to prevent rejection.
Build complete claim files fast — PODs, invoices, driver statements, police reports, survey docs, and photos.
Maintain real-time visibility on financial exposure.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner closely with Operations and Control Tower immediately after incidents.
Liaise with brokers, insurers, and surveyors to accelerate investigations.
Escalate risks early — don’t wait for problems to grow.
Data & Risk Visibility
Maintain a clean, audit-ready claims tracker.
Publish recurring risk insights:
Damage trends
Theft exposure
Lane-level risk
Repeat transporter incidents
Prevention Mindset
Identify patterns and recommend operational fixes.
Support rollout of preventive controls (documentation standards, loading evidence, compliance checks).
We don’t just manage claims — we reduce the need for them.
What You'll Need:
0–2 years experience in logistics, insurance, operations, or finance.
Strong attention to detail — you notice what others miss.
Structured thinker with strong follow-up discipline.
Comfortable working across teams in a high-accountability culture.
Advanced user of Excel / Google Sheets.
Fluent English; Arabic strongly preferred.
